Dr. Jenna Rondeau

My career in veterinary medicine has allowed me to combine my love of animals with my interests in science and preventative medicine. I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014.  Following that, I completed a rotating small animal internship at the Western Veterinary Specialists Centre and then worked full time in a 24 hour Emergency hospital in Calgary before moving back home to Manitoba. I joined the Oakbank Animal Hospital in 2016.  

I am proud to work in a hospital that will always strive to provide the highest level of veterinary medicine and that puts patient care first.  We have an amazing team full of passionate and hardworking individuals and together we can provide an important service to our clients and community. 

I have a keen interest in surgery and preventative medicine. I also have interests in ophthalmology, dermatology, anesthesiology, emergency care and place an emphasis on open communication with clients. 

Fun facts about me: I have three beautiful children, a wonderful husband and 2 dogs that keep me very active and busy.  It is never a dull moment at home or at the Oakbank Animal Hospital!
